Basic Section

This also consists of three sections namely; the Lower Basic, Middle Basic, and Upper Basic (Junior Secondary) Sections.

Lower Basic (1 – 3): At the Lower Basic level, intensive teaching of conventional subjects begins while the memorization of glorious Qur’an, teaching of Islamic studies and Arabic language continue taking about 55% of this section’s learning activities. Pupils at this level are exposed to a carefully prepared scheme of work and learning activities that gradually provide them with the right foundation.

Middle Basic (4 – 6): At this stage, all conventional subjects are introduced and are taught professionally by specially trained and result-oriented teachers. It is expected that, by the end of Primary Four, pupils would have been equipped enough to compete outstandingly with their counterparts from other schools.
